Oklahoma City's starting center, Kendrick Perkins, will miss the team's next two games because of the passing of his grandfather, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

With Perkins absent for Wednesday night's game against the Clippers in L.A. and Thursday night's contest versus the Warriors in Oakland, rookie Steven Adams is expected to start at center for the Thunder.

OKC looks to extend its four-game winning streak tonight at 9:30 p.m. CT.
