'FrightFest' Returns To OKC's Frontier City This Weekend

Popular Halloween celebration "FrightFest" is returning to Frontier City in Oklahoma City this weekend.

FrightFest runs Fridays through Sundays, October 4 to November 2. It offers something for the bravest at heart to the youngest ghouls and goblins.

During this year's festival, park officials say they will also be running a FrightFest food drive. Guests are encouraged to bring two non-perishable food items and they will be able to get into FrightFest at a discounted rate of $22.99 plus tax.

All proceeds will benefit the City Rescue Mission.

Guests are encouraged to spend the day and night at the park during the festival as many special events are scheduled to take place.

Spook-tacular shows and attractions for the entire family are making their way to the stages of Frontier City at this year's FrightFest.

MiniKISS concert –One Night Only

The stars of the 2010 Dr. Pepper Cherry/KISS Super Bowl commercial, rock cover band, MiniKISS, will be kicking off FrightFest with a concert Saturday, October 5th at 8pm. The concert is FREE with park admission.

Freakshow Deluxe

Back by popular demand, Freakshow Deluxe, Hollywood's one and ONLY carnival –style sideshow, is bringing its weird and wonderful, creepy sideshow spectacular to Frontier City's FrightFest. Shows daily at 7:30p.m. and 9:00p.m. in the Opera House. The show is FREE with park admission.

Nightmare Institute Haunted House

The Nightmare Institute Haunted House, in the abandoned Nightmare building takes you through over 20 rooms of fear as your worst dreams come true in this terrifying maze of horror. The nightmares begin at dusk. Admission to the Haunted House is an additional $5.

BooVille Trick-or-Treat Trail

BooVille, offers goblins 10 and under an exciting trick-or-treat experience and pumpkin patch. Follow the BooVille path and collect treats from 10 kid friendly movie themed booths. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. For safety reasons, NO MASKS, please! The BooVille trick-or-treat trail is FREE with park admission and available only for guests 10 and under and operates from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday- Sunday October 4-27.

Festival of Fright Parade

When the sun goes down, the monsters come out for this ghoulish parade through the park. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. nightly.

Scare Zones

Be careful where you turn! Located throughout the park are additional Scare Zones, Psycho Circus, The Troll Way, and Route 666 Motel.

Shows

Ever wonder what goes on in the Graveyard when the sun goes down? You'll find out at Dead Man's Party. Join Dr. Fright as he summons guests to his rock ‘n' roll Halloween ballroom blitz. Welcome to the nightmare as these cadaverous friends party till the sun comes up in this haunting Halloween production!

Beware of Measuring Mortician! Everything you need to know about the afterlife in this interactive show with terrifying feats that will make you scream all the way to your car!

Join us for Proctor's Revenge…if you dare! This eerie spectacle full of pyrotechnics, hair raising stunts and bone crushing fights is sure to send a shiver down your spine! Not suitable for young children.
