Jamie Lee Curtis Talks Women's Health In OKC

Award winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis is in OKC Sunday night talking about women's health.

News 9 caught up with her at the Civic Center downtown. Her message to the crowd: she's just like the women of Oklahoma.

"I think my life experiences are almost exactly the same. Separate from dancing scantily clad around a bedpost around a future governor of California, I mean. I think there are moments I can say ‘OK fine. Nobody else has done that.' But I think that in the sense of my being a woman, being a mother, being a daughter, being an alcoholic, I don't think there's anyone out in that audience that won't relate to any of those parts of my life," Curtis said.

Integris Health brought Curtis in for a forum on healthy recipes for women. Tickets were free and they went fast. In fact, there were so many people who wanted to go, they added a matinee to today's schedule.
