McDaniels was charged back in November 2012 for running down Patrick Kasardas in his own yard. He was arrested not long after the hit-and-run in southwest OKC. Investigators say the McDaniels appeared to be high on the synthetic drug K2 at the time of his arrest.

Kasardas was taken to OU Medical Center for a broken wrist, ribs, tailbone and internal injuries. He has since made a full recovery.

McDaniels' sentencing date is set for Oct. 1.
