OSBI Investigates Suspicious Death Of Mooreland Teen

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the suspicious death of a Mooreland teen, after the teen was pronounced dead at a local hospital early Sunday morning.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the suspicious death of a Mooreland teen, after the teen was pronounced dead at a local hospital early Sunday morning.

The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Kolby Bowers.

Investigators say the incident happened in Ellis County, just outside of the town of Fargo, a small town west of Woodward, Okla.

Bowers arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle at around 12:30 a.m. Doctors attempted to revive him, but he was later pronounced dead. An exact cause of death has not been released.

Ellis County Sheriff's deputies and OSBI investigators are interviewing individuals in Fargo at this time. 

The medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine Bowers' cause and manner of death.
