Emergency Crews Respond To Possible Drowning At OKC Apartment

Emergency crews are on the scene of a possible drowning in the pool at the Wedgewood Village apartment complex in Oklahoma City, Wednesday evening.

Crews with the Oklahoma City Police and Fire departments responded to the call to the complex, located at 4101 NW Expressway, just after 6 p.m.

Authorities say the victim is a 34-year-old male. 

Authorities say the man was apparently swimming alone when a resident found him at the bottom of the 12-foot-deep pool. That resident was able to pull the victim halfway out of the pool. Fire crews arrived and got the man completely out and performed CPR. 

Police say he was transported from the scene to Baptist Medical Center in critical condition.
