The free agency period has been understandably quiet for the cash-strapped Oklahoma City Thunder, but according to Yahoo! Sports, that might change.
Yahoo! reports that the Thunder is the frontrunner to sign former Miami Heat sharpshooter Mike Miller.
The 13-year veteran and former Florida Gator was a key role player for the Heat's back-to-back NBA Championships. Miller shot 41.7 percent from 3-point range for Miami last season and 45.3 percent the season before.
If Miller and the Thunder do indeed come to terms, he will be utilized as a 3-point specialist as OKC looks to fill the scoring void left by the departing Kevin Martin.
