Oklahoma State will host the Memphis Tigers inside Gallagher-Iba Arena on Nov. 19, as a non-bracketed game of the Old Spice Classic, it was announced on Tuesday. The game will tip off at 6:30 p.m. and be televised on ESPN.
The bracketed portion of the Old Spice Classic was also announced, with the Cowboys facing Purdue on Thursday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. CT in a game televised on ESPN2. The Cowboys will play either Butler or Washington State on Friday, Nov. 29, in the semifinals. The winners will play at 11:30 a.m. CT on ESPN while the losers will play at 2 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
The other half of the bracket features LSU, Memphis, Saint Joseph's and Siena. Following a day off on Saturday, the finals will be played on Sunday, Dec. 1. The bracketed games will be played at the HP Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Kissimmee, Fla.
Memphis finished with a 31-5 record and ranked No. 18/19 in the final polls of 2012-13. The Cowboys are 3-2 all-time against the Tigers, including a 70-53 win in the NCAA Tournament en route to the 2004 Final Four. Oklahoma State won its only previous meeting with the Purdue Boilermakers, a 67-48 decision in Stillwater on Nov. 23, 1991.
