Shopping Mom Accused Of Leaving Toddlers In Car Outside OKC Store

Oklahoma City Police arrested a mother accused of leaving her 3-year-old twins alone inside a car while she went shopping.

On Saturday, July13 around 1:30 p.m., an off-duty officer saw two young girls sitting unattended inside a vehicle parked outside Ulta Beauty on S.W. 3rd Street, near Interstate 40 and MacArthur Boulevard. The high temperature for that day was 99 degrees.

The officer immediately called for an on-duty patrol officer. DHS was also called to the scene.

About 40 minutes later, the children's mother, 35-year-old mother Desiree Bolch, walked back to the vehicle. Police arrested Bolch, and booked her into the Oklahoma County jail on two counts of child neglect.

The children were unharmed.
