The medical examiner arrived around 9 p.m. as police continue to process the crime scene. The man's body was found in a field right in the middle of a neighborhood, near N.E. 16th Terrace.

Someone in the area saw the body around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. Officers arrived and crime scene tape went up around N.E. 16th Terrace. The neighborhood is just west of Martin Luther King. Family members and neighbors watched as investigators processed the scene for hours.

The family says the victim's name is Prentice Williams and he just turned 22-years-old.

"He just had a birthday in May," said Quicney Ceigler, the victim's cousin. "It's crazy. I believe it's a friend, a homeboy, I believe it's over a female, there's just too many stories. We're just trying to put everything together."

Police aren't saying how the man died. They say there was a missing person's report filed for Williams Tuesday morning and family members say the last time they saw him was Friday.

At this point police have not identified a suspect. If you have any information you're asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at (405) 297-1200.
