Water Rescue Underway In Northeast OKC

Crews are currently in the area of N.E. 178th Street & N. Peebly Road searching for a 28-year old man who jumped into the Deep Fork River.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office and multiple first responder agencies are currently in the area of N.E. 178th Street & N. Peebly Road searching for a 28-year old man who jumped into the Deep Fork River.

According to an eyewitness several people had been in the area drinking alcohol when the missing man jumped into the river which is swollen with water due to recent heavy rains.

The Edmond F.D. has responded with it's swift water rescue crew.

The victim has not been located at this point.
