The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office has released the names of most of the 24 people killed Monday when a tornado roared through Moore and south Oklahoma City.
During the original chaos in the immediate aftermath of the tornado, the medical examiner's office reported 51 people had been killed. They later revised that number to 24; 14 adults and 10 children, including two infants.

Seven of those children were third-grade students at Plaza Towers Elementary School. Most of them died from mechanical asphyxia, or suffocation. Most of the other victims died from blunt force trauma.
The identified victims are:
