Threatening Message Causes Stir At Southmoore HS

A disturbing and desperate message left in the boys' bathroom at Southmoore High School has students worried. Many of them are concerned for their classmate who wrote it.

That message was removed quickly by school administrators once it was brought to their attention. It was filled with expletives and the writer said he wanted to kill everyone in the school and himself. But the district stresses, nobody was at risk and the situation has been dealt with.

The note was left on the wall of a men's bathroom in Southmoore High School. Some students discovered it and told teachers about it. Duncan Barnhart is one of them. He posted a picture of the note to social media network Reddit and responses flooded in.

The note's writer mentioned killing everyone in the school but stressed killing himself several times. Part of the note reads "I'm done with life."

A spokesman for the Moore School District says nobody is at risk and the student who wrote the note has been dealt with appropriately. The students say he probably lashed out because he was bullied.

Again most of the students we caught up with hope the person who wrote the note gets help. And they say they still feel safe here at Southmoore High.
