Norman Man Accused Of Murdering Girlfriend's 23-Month-Old Daughter

Police say a Norman man murdered his live-in girlfriend's 23-month-old daughter last Thursday.

Police say 25-year-old Jeremy Howard called 911 Thursday night. When police got to the Norman apartment Howard shared with Amanda Hosler and her child Kiyla Hosler, little Kiyla was unresponsive.

Police say the child had suffered a blow to the head.

Police arrested Jeremy Howard and jailed him after several police interviews.

"I can't imagine someone doing that to a child," neighbor Beverly Wyatt said.

Police Captain Tom Easley says he expects formal first-degree murder charges to be filed against Jeremy Howard later this week.
