Three suspects were arrested in connection to a robbery at MidFirst Bank in southwest Oklahoma City.
Around 9:30 a.m. Friday, the FBI says two men, believed to be behind a string of recent bank robberies in the metro and Moore, were back at it again.
"We've had five recent bank robberies with the same general description of the subjects," says FBI Special Agent Rick Rains. "They come in with the same manner, with the guns out, so we definitely believe they are all connected."
Rains said two men with handguns stole an undisclosed amount of money from MidFirst Bank.
"Guns were drawn, they had hoods on, one of them possibly had a mask on," Rains said. "They approached the tellers yelling, demanding money. They took money from the tellers, put it in a plastic shopping bag."
Rains says the two men got away in a stolen Honda Accord before they crashed into a tree at a nearby apartment complex, Los Pueblos. From there, the men took off on foot before police found them a couple hours later at two homes on northeast 16th St.

"Had to keep our kids safe, we didn't know what was going on, we heard a lot of commotion and stuff, so we made sure the kids were safe by having them go in the back," says Ashley Nash, Asst. Director at New Editionz Child Care Academy.
Two Oklahoma City brothers were arrested on federal bank robbery charges: Michael Lewis and Jerry Lewis. A third suspect, Edna Huff, was also arrested on related charges in the state. Another man, who was at the home on 16th St. was also questioned and could face charges.
