OKC Company Makes NCAA Championship Trophy

There is an Oklahoma City tie to Monday night's NCAA National Championship men's basketball game.

MTM Recognition, which is on the border of Oklahoma City and Del City, has been in the sports trophy business for more than 40 years.

They have 500 employees world-wide, and they've designed the past 7 basketball national championship trophies.

"Oh it's amazing our people take such pride in what they do," said MTM Communications Director Donna Lamprecht. "When that trophy is lifted up, we know it was made here."

MTM also made the championship trophies for 22 of the football bowl games this past season as well.
