OHP Captain Who Died Of Sudden Heart Attack To Be Laid To Rest

Funeral services for an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Captain will be held on Thursday.

Services for Captain Rodrick Norwood will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, at the Anadarko High School Stadium.

Captain Norwood, an 18-year veteran of the OHP, passed away in March after a sudden heart attack. He was 42.

Norwood graduated from Anadarko High School in 1989 and attended the University of Oklahoma where he played football for the Oklahoma Sooners.

Norwood leaves behind a wife, two sons, and a step daughter.
