With Wednesday's doubleheader against Louisiana-Lafayette rained out, the No. 1 Oklahoma softball team (30-2) has added a contest tomorrow, Thursday April 4, at No. 20/18 Tulsa (29-7-1) to its schedule. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. at Collins Family Softball Complex.
The Sooners are 36-10 all-time against the Golden Hurricane, including an 11-6 record in Tulsa.
The two teams met last season at Marita Hynes Field in the NCAA Regional. Trailing 1-0 after five innings, the Sooners broke the game open with a six-run sixth inning en route to a 7-1 win. Keilani Ricketts struck out 10 to get the victory, while Jessica Shults had an RBI double and Erica Sampson delivered a two-run single.
