One woman was killed and another was injured in a crash in Coal County Saturday morning.
It happened at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, on a county road about four and half miles west of Coalgate.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Brenda S. Beck was driving a 1999 Ford SUV, eastbound on the county road, when she lost control of the SUV and it began to roll in the roadway.
Troopers say the SUV eventually rolled off the roadway to the left. It then rolled two complete times and came to rest on its wheels.
Beck was thrown out of the SUV during the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries.
A passenger in the SUV was flown by EagleMed to St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa. She is said to be in stable condition.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
