Cushing police requested assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Bomb Squad. School faculty, police officers, an Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agent, and four Oklahoma Highway Patrol Explosives Detection K9 teams, searched the Cushing High School. But they did not find anything suspicious.

On Monday, authorities were able to identify a Tulsa home believed to be the source of the threat. Investigators later served a search warrant on the home, and recovered numerous items of evidence.

Police identified two persons of interest in connection with the threats. One was out of state. The other is still at large in the Tulsa area.

Cushing police say this case is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to contact the police department at (918)-225-1212 and ask to speak with Detective Adam Harp or Chief Tully Folden.
