Rain shortened the non-conference baseball series between Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Quincy to three games this weekend with the Hawks taking two of the three games.
Quincy defeated SWOSU 9-5 on Saturday and 3-0 in the first game on Sunday before SWOSU took the final game of the series 7-3.
SWOSU is now 11-9 on the year heading into a midweek non-conference game on Wednesday at Oklahoma Science & Arts. The Bulldogs return to conference action next weekend at Henderson State.
Softball Series At Southern Arkansas Cut Short By Weather
MAGNOLIA, Ark. – After getting in a pair of games on Saturday, the SWOSU softball series against Southern Arkansas was limited to just two games by the weather conditions in Magnolia on Sunday.
Southern Arkansas claimed victory in both games on Saturday, defeating SWOSU by scores of 5-1 and 11-4, dropping the Bulldogs to 6-18 on the year and 2-8 in Great American Conference play.
SWOSU will play at Southern Nazarene for a four-game GAC series this Friday and Saturday.
