Former OK Charter School Teacher Charged With Rape

A former Oklahoma teacher and coach is charged with more than two dozen counts of sex crimes against children. His alleged victim was a student at a metro charter school.

All the disturbing details are laid out in these court papers filed Tuesday. And this former teacher is not only accused of having sex with student. He's accused of stalking her at her new school to try to get her to recant.

According to court records, 42-year-old Pascal Wayne Jones was a teacher at Marcus Garvey Charter School off N.E. 24th street from 2010 to the beginning of 2012. And it was there that he is accused of molesting and then having sex with a 13-year-old student.

Those records state all the reported incidents occurred during elective school hours in Jones' classroom.

They state he would lock the door and that's when the sex acts would occur.

An investigation into possible failure to protect issues was conducted against Marcus Garvey Charter School, since the victim claims she did attempt to speak with some of the school staff about the issue.

The principal tells us he can't comment about the case but confirms Jones is no longer a teacher at the school.

We discovered Jones was also a PE teacher and basketball Coach at Capital Hill High School from 1992 to 2008, but the district says he resigned.

Back in August, both a police report and Victims Protective Order was made against Jones by the teenager's mother. She claims Jones was stalking her daughter. This after Jones was spotted at Crooked Oaks School.

The mother told police Jones was trying to reach her daughter and wanted to meet her at her new school.

The police report states an officer spotted Jones in the parking lot - and he sped off.

Jones was pulled over and arrested a short time later.

There was a police report made back in June of last year against Jones, based on a DHS referral, but that case was deemed unfounded - because the victim denied having sex with her teacher.

A request for an arrest warrant has been issued for Jones.
