Matt Oberste hit a walk-off opposite field home run to give No. 14 Oklahoma a 7-4 victory over Hofstra, and an opening weekend sweep.
The Sooners got the victory despite wasting a great start from pitcher Corey Copping, who allowed just a single run on two hits in seven innings of work.
Robert Tasin worked the ninth inning for OU to get the win, while Cody Normand took the loss for the Pride.
The Sooners had a 4-1 run going into the eighth inning, but Jake Fisher gave up three runs on three hits to allow Hofstra to tie the game.
In the bottom of the ninth, Jack Mayfield singled and Max White walked to bring up Oberste, who sent the second pitch he saw over the right field fence to give OU its second consecutive walk-off win.
The Sooners are back in action on Tuesday, when they host Arkansas-Pine Bluff for a two-game series. First pitch for both Tuesday and Wednesday is set for 3 p.m.
