Suspect In Norman Bank Robberies Arrested

The FBI and Norman Police Department have arrested a 51-year-old man suspected of robbing two banks in Norman.

The FBI and Norman Police Department have arrested a 51-year-old man suspected of robbing two banks in Norman.

Agents and officers located Leonardo Lamar Parks at approximately 11:30 p.m. Wednesday near Reno and Shartel in downtown Oklahoma City. He was arrested without incident and booked into the Grady County jail. He's expected to appear in federal court Thursday.

The FBI says Parks robbed two Norman banks. The first robbery occurred February 1 at the Communication Federal Credit Union at 300 12th Avenue S.E. Parks is also a suspect in the February 11 robbery of a Bank of Oklahoma branch located inside the Homeland Grocery Store at 2600 W. Robinson Street.
