Comatose Millwood High School Student Dies

A 15-year-old girl has died after passing out before a basketball game, and falling into a coma.

Karisma Taylor's family says the teenager died Friday. The girl was warming up for a basketball game at Millwood High School Monday night when she told her coach she couldn't breathe. Her family says the coach sent her outside, where Karisma passed out.

Her friends found her and rushed to get help. Karisma's parents say it took more than 10 minutes for the school to call 911, and for an ambulance to arrive.

Karisma fell into a coma and was declared brain dead.

School officials are investigating.
