Craig Prom sings his 4 month old a "lullaby": It's A Wonderful World. But his wonderful world isn't what it used to be. It all changed on Jan. 8.
News stations in St. Louis first reported the mystery of Ebony Jackson, the 30-year-old missing Oklahoma mother. And that's because someone shot her; her body was found in east St. Louis stuffed into the trunk of her car.
Jackson and Prom's now 4-month-old son, Donavon, may be the only person who witnessed the crime. A few days before police discovered her body, little Donavon was seemingly abandoned, all bundled up and left with a bottle in front a random apartment located across the street from Ebony's aunt.

The couple had been living together in Moore for 14 months and Prom considered her as his common law wife.
"They have cleared me," Prom said. "They asked me if I knew where Ebony was, if I had anything to do with Ebony's disappearance. [I told them] ‘No, I want her back, just like you.'"
And Prom says the rumors that Jackson was leaving him are untrue. He says she was just excited about taking Donavon to meet family for the first time, but somehow wound up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Prom says the biggest challenge is finding affordable childcare to watch Donavon while he works. Jackson used to stay with him. So their church has set up a fund to help the baby at Bank of Oklahoma. It will be under Donavon Prom's name.
St. Louis Police tell News 9 they have not made any progress on this case and are no closer to finding Ebony's killer.
