A 15-year-old student was arrested after she reportedly attacked a teacher at an Oklahoma City school Wednesday morning.
According to the police report, officers responded to the incident at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Seeworth Academy, located at 12600 N. Kelley Avenue.
The victim is the Director of Operations and Assistant Vice Principal of the school. He said the student had her cell phone out, and he told the student he needed to take it away because cell phones were not allowed at the academy.
The student then became upset and kicked the victim in the thigh, according to police. A security guard said he tried to control the student, but she fought with him.
Officers took the student into custody after they arrived at the scene. She was booked into the Berry House, and is facing charges of assault and battery.
Police did not release the student's identity because she is a minor.
