The Rogers State women's basketball team fell two spots to No. 15 in the fifth regular season edition of the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
The Hillcats were 1-1 last week, falling to No. 4 Oklahoma City on the road Thursday night before bouncing back with a win over St. Gregory's on Saturday afternoon at the Claremore Expo. RSU is tied for second placing in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings with No. 1 Lubbock Christian. The Lady Chaps held the No. 1 ranking in four-straight polls from Oct. 23 to Jan. 8 and returned to the top spot in the fifth regular season poll after a one-week hiatus.
After a 2-0 week, OCU held onto their No. 4 ranking and received two first place votes while sitting atop the SAC standings. The Stars are riding a 13-game winning streak and handed LCU its lone loss of the season.
Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), aided by a five-game winning streak, makes a one-spot leap to No. 2. Falling two spots to No. 3 is Vanguard (Calif.) while Westminster (Utah) claims the No. 5 ranking for the fourth time this season.
Rogers State (15-5, 5-1) will head to West Texas this week to take on Wayland Baptist on Thursday night at 6 p.m. and Lubbock Christian on Saturday at 1 p.m.
