At least six people are searching for a place to stay following a fire at an apartment building in Stillwater.

The fire started Thursday morning inside an apartment building at 111 N. Duck, which is just a few blocks away from the Oklahoma State University campus. Everyone escaped, but at least three OSU students had to be rushed to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire badly damaged four units, leaving six students without a place to live. Volunteers with the American Red Cross are assisting the students.

It's not known yet how the fire started.
