Oklahoma State's Brittney Martin has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week, as chosen by a media panel, it was announced on Monday.
It marked the third time this season Martin has received the accolade.
In OSU's two wins this past week, Martin averaged 15 points, eight rebounds and three steals.
She recorded her second career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds against No. 17 Kansas in the Cowgirls' third win over a Top 25 opponent under head coach Jim Littell. Martin also contributed two assists, one block and one steal against the Jayhawks.
The Syracuse, Utah, native made 7-of- 14 shots from the floor to help OSU win at Texas for the first time since 2009. Martin finished with a career-high 16 points along with five steals, six rebounds and an assist.
Martin and the 17th-ranked Cowgirls will be back in action on Sunday at noon when they host Iowa State in Stillwater.
