Police Search For Missing OKC Mother Of Abandoned Baby

An Oklahoma City woman disappeared while visiting someone in St. Louis, leaving her 3-month-old baby boy behind in the hallway at an apartment complex.

Ebony Jackson's family last heard from her on Thursday when she talked to an aunt on the phone. Family members say they don't know who Jackson was visiting, but they believe that person will know where she is and say they're worried Jackson is in danger.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the child, identified by relatives as 3-month-old Donovan Prom, was found at 5 a.m. Friday at the Hickory Trace apartment complex in Breckenridge Hills. The hallway was fully enclosed so the child was shielded from the cold morning. He was in a car seat, with a blanket over him and a bottle of milk by his side. A resident of the complex found the child as he was going to work and called police.

Relatives say Donovan is the son of Ebony Jackson and her boyfriend, Craig Prom. Jackson is a native of East St. Louis, Ill. She and Prom now live in Oklahoma City, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Prom was scheduled to have a paternity test on Monday, so he could bring the baby home.
