Cushing Police arrested two men suspected of stealing Wal-Mart merchandise totaling $10,000 to sell on the street.

On December 10, a Wal-Mart asset protection officer from the store in Cushing called police, saying he'd received information that two employees were trying to sell DVDs they'd stolen from the store. After conducting an internal investigation, the store identified assistant manager Bobby Davis, 41, and support manager Jacob Estes, 25, as suspects.

Police questioned the two men. According to a police report, the suspects admitted to taking items from the store for approximately five to six months. Police searched both their homes and discovered DVDs, video games, computers and tablets that had been taken from the store. The worth of the items reached more than $10,000.

While searching Davis' home, police also found marijuana.

Police arrested Davis and Estes on complaints of embezzlement and concealing stolen property. Davis was also booked for possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school. They're being held in the Payne County jail.
