It may not be December for a few more hours, but already people are getting into the Christmas spirit. Hundreds of people flocked to a metro church to take a Journey to Bethlehem.

Forest Hill Christian Church in Oklahoma City is getting rave reviews about a Holiday nativity scene they've been hosting for 12 years. But it's much more than a nativity scene.

More than 300 church members decked out in costumes present the true story of Christ's birth in a series of scenes located around the church's property.

The event has become so popular, it attracted 2500 visitors Friday night.

"When they step into our wooded area, they no longer feel like they're in Oklahoma City," said Casting Coordinator Joy Dyer.

Forest Hill's "Journey to Bethlehem" runs Saturday and Sunday nights, from 6 until 9 p.m. Admission is free.
