Water Issues Still Not resolved In Konawa

The city of Konawa had hoped to have all the water restored Thursday night to the entire town, but News 9 is told workers are still busy making repairs at the well field.

A new system is needed, but the city says that could cost more than $5-million.

The far west side of town still doesn't have water. The rest of the town has some, but not at full force.

Work crews will reassess how long it will be at this point on Friday. 

A representative of Sen. Langford was also in town on Thursday to survey the problem.
