Oklahoma's hometown heroes are taking the reins to benefit a local charity.

Police and fire stations will compete in horse races to raise money for the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum.

Riders have been paired with some of the NRHA's professional trainers. You can come cheer on the friendly competition on Friday, November 30, at the Jim Norick Arena at the state fairgrounds.

This event is free and open to the public.

Guest judges include singer Lyle Lovett and Formula One racing driver, Michael Schumacher.
