Car Fire Burns Field In Northwest OKC

Firefighters have knocked down a grass fire that burned about one acre near N.W. 192nd Street and Portland.

The fire started around 1:15 p.m. when a burning vehicle in the middle of a field sparked a small grass fire. Oklahoma City, Deer Creek and Oak Cliff fire departments responded to the scene.

Crews quickly doused the fire. No one was hurt. It's not known what caused the car fire.
