Man Charged With Murder In Fatal Shooting During Party In OKC

The Oklahoma County District Attorney's office files charges against a man accused of killing one man and injuring two others.

Daniel Ramirez, 20, is charged with one count of first degree murder in the shooting death of 21-year-old Raul Chavez. He also is charged with one count of shooting with intent to kill.

On Sunday, August 5, Oklahoma City police officers responded to a "shots fired" call at 8221 N.W. 11th Street. According to police, witnesses said a fight broke out at a gathering resulting in gunfire. Chavez died in the shooting; two others suffered non-life threatening injuries.
