The Oklahoma State Cowboys moved to 3-0 in their international tour in Spain with an 80-59 victory against BC Gran Canaria on Tuesday.
Junior Markel Brown led the Cowboys with 17 points and Brian Williams scored 12 points and snagged nine rebounds to propel OSU to the exhibition victory.
Brown hit 7-of-12 shots from the floor, including 3-for-4 from the 3-point line. OSU took an early 21-8 lead and controlled the rest of the contest.
Jean-Paul Olukemi added 10 points and started the second half with OSU leading 38-30. Le'Bryan Nash and Marcus Smart each scored eight.
The Cowboys shot 47.7 percent from the floor, including 7-of-20 from 3. The Cowboys committed just 12 turnovers, while forcing Gran Canaria into 16 miscues and gathering 10 steals. The Cowboys limited Gran Canaria 32.7 percent from the floor.
Berni Hernandez was Gran Canaria's leading scorer with 16 points.
Oklahoma State will play the final game of the trip on Thursday at 7 p.m. locally (1 p.m. CT) against the CBA Alumni.
