The preseason Coaches' Poll was released today and Oklahoma and Oklahoma State both found themselves in the top 20 of the poll.
The Sooners checked in at No. 4, garnering one first place vote. The Sooners were behind LSU, Alabama, and USC. The Cowboys were listed as the No. 19 team in the country, just ahead of No. 20 Virginia Tech.
In addition to the Sooners and Cowboys, four other Big 12 teams made the top 25, led by newcomer West Virginia at No. 11. Texas was No. 15, TCU was No. 17, and Kansas State checked in at No. 21.
Baylor and Texas Tech each received votes for the poll, but were not in the top 25.
