It's been nearly two years since a man was out for a morning bike ride, and was killed in a hit and run accident. The person responsible has never been caught.
News 9 Crime Tracker talked to the family about the case that police say has grown cold.
The family still can't believe that no one has come forward with information about that fatal hit and run.
It is a case that has hit the entire cycling community hard.

Nancy Spencer still has fond memories of her husband Alan Spencer. Reminders of him are still all over the family home, from Spencer traveling the open road on his motorcycle, or riding off the beaten path on his bike.
It was on that July 17, 2010 that Spencer was out cycling in his old stomping grounds, along Midwest Blvd., that he was hit from behind and killed.
Now along that same stretch of road, stands a lonely bicycle. A reminder of what happened, and of a case that is still unsolved.
"There were a lot of tips that came in initially, but those tips have long since dried up," said Gary Knight with Oklahoma City police.
The family just prays someone will finally come forward.

The family says it appears a black or dark truck or SUV with a black guard may have hit and killed Spencer. They just hopes the person responsible still lives in the metro, and will finally feel some remorse, and confess to what happened.
Family members say enough time has passed for them to forgive them for what happened.
