Carlos Corporan doubled in the go-ahead run in the top of the 11th inning to lift the Oklahoma City RedHawks to a 5-4 extra-inning victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs Thursday night.
Corporan's game-winning RBI was the icing on the cake of one of the finest games of his career. He finished five for five with a walk.
OKC led 4-1 behind a strong pitching performance by Armando Galarraga until New Orleans' Nick Green hit a game-tying three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh.
The RedHawks bounced back from its 11-1 drubbing the night before and have now won five of six. Game three of the series is Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. in New Orleans.
