Man Charged With First-Degree Murder For OKC Teen's Death

Oklahoma County prosecutors have charged a 20-year-old man with first-degree murder in the death of a 16-year-old boy.

Oklahoma County prosecutors have charged a 20-year-old man with first-degree murder in the death of a 16-year-old boy.

Khaleeq Landon, 16, was shot and killed June 14 at Windsor Village Apartments near N.W. 23rd Street and N. Anne Arbor. Witnesses told police they saw Deante James Hawthorne shoot Landon, then run from the scene.

Police tracked Hawthorne to Alabama, where he was arrested by US Marshals.
