One Person Dead After Train And Car Collide In El Reno

One person is dead after a train collides with a car in El Reno.

According to El Reno police, the accident was reported by Union Pacific Railroad around 11:44 a.m. Wednesday. The railway company said one of its trains crashed into a vehicle near the intersection of Elm Street and Radio Road in El Reno.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. No other passengers were in the car. The El Reno Police Department is currently investigating the accident and the name of the deceased is being held pending notification of family members.
