Valley Brook Police Chief Fired Over Drug Charges

The town of Valley Brook fired its police chief Tuesday night.

Chief Melvin Fisher has been suspended since he was charged last Labor Day with drug possession and drug trafficking after the Oklahoma Highway Patrol pulled him over in Creek County during a traffic stop.

Valley Brook's Board of Trustee's voted 4-0 to fire Fisher Tuesday night.

Mike Stamp is now Valley Brook's police chief.
