Police arrested a man after a woman reported she found him stealing from her apartment.
It happened on Wednesday, May 16, at an apartment complex in the 14000 block of N. May Avenue in Oklahoma City.
The victim told police she found the suspect, 37-year-old Antar Bond, loading things into her laundry basket at her apartment.
The victim said she asked Bond why he was taking her stuff. Bond yelled at her and said, "this is mine."
Bond grabbed the basket and continued to leave. The victim was able to take back her laptop, camera, and some DVDs before Bond took off, according to the police report.
Police later found Bond with the basket filled with jewelry, a teddy bear and breakfast bars.
Officers say they also found items that did not belong to the victim, including a prescription bottle containing Xanex, a silver jewelry box with emerald earrings, another silver jewelry box with an emerald and diamond necklace, and a plastic tackle box with five necklaces, bracelets, and five sets of earrings.
Bond was transported to Oklahoma County jail on second degree burglary charges.
