Man Charged In Weleetka Girls' Murders To Appear In Court Monday

The man accused of killing two young girls in Weleetka almost four years ago is scheduled to be in court Monday.

Kevin Sweat is in custody for the murders of Skyla Whitaker and Taylor Placker. He's also been charged in the murder of his fiancée, Ashley Taylor.

A preliminary hearing in the Ashley Taylor case is set for 9:30 a.m. Monday in Okfuskee County.

It will be followed by a pre-preliminary hearing for the Weleetka murders.
