OKLAHOMA CITY – It's not very far into the season, but the RedHawks are already giving their fans some major theatrics.
Oklahoma City got down three runs on Saturday night but rattled off a 4-0 rally to pick up the win against the Memphis Redbirds.
OKC moved to 8-2 on the season and moved into a first place tie in the standings after New Orleans lost at Nashville.
Memphis scored in the first three innings, all off of RedHawks starter Henry Sosa.
Oklahoma City finally crossed the plate in the fifth inning on a solo homer from Brian Bixler to start chipping the lead down at 3-1.
The next inning, J.B. Shuck singled to start it off and pinch hitter Scott Moore followed it up with a two-run homer to knot the game at three.
But in dramatic fashion, the RedHawks saved their best tricks for the ninth. Justin Ruggiano doubled and Mike Hessman lined into an error from right fielder Cedric Hunter.
The two teams are set to meet again at 1:35 p.m. Sunday at Autozone Park in Memphis.
