A small tornado touched down just before 1 a.m. Saturday in southwest Oklahoma City. The tornado, along with severe thunderstorms overnight, caused damage to several homes in the area.

According to city officials, the tornado touched down between S.W. 59th Street and S.W. 19th Street, as well as Czech Hall Road and Mustang Road in Oklahoma City.
No injuries were reported. Many residents in the area reported seeing the tornado.
According to Oklahoma City officials, because no warning was issued by the National Weather Service, the outdoor warning sirens were not activated during that time.
Several buildings in the area sustained damage as the small tornado touched down. It caused major damage to the roof of one resident's home. One mobile home sustained minor damage, and three mobile homes were affected, according to officials.
Authorities said trees, power lines and fences are down in the area at this time.
A tornado touched down in Norman near Highway 9 and I-35 at about 4 p.m. Friday. It caused severe damage to the community.
