Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Midwest City

A woman died after being hit by a car in Midwest City Tuesday night.

Officers said the woman was struck by a van near a 7-11 convenience store on St. John Avenue, north of 10th Street, in Midwest City.

Police said it was a domestic dispute that led the driver of the van to run over the woman. Officers believe alcohol played a role in the incident.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where she later died. 

Police arrested the driver of the van Tuesday evening.
