Oklahoma City police caught a robbery in progress over the weekend and made one arrest.
Police arrested David Kennedy, 53, after officers saw him running from the Family Dollar located at 1200 N. Classen. The store manager was chasing after Kennedy, when officers just happened to drive by.
Police said Kennedy walked into the store and made a purchase. However, when the clerk opened the cash register, Kennedy allegedly grabbed the clerk by the shirt and pushed her out of the way. Police said he then grabbed the cash from the register and fled on foot.
Kennedy was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. Turns out, police said Kennedy also has a federal warrant against him for bank robbery.
